Our range of tipping body and flatbed tractors have been designed and built to be used in heavy duty conditions. Scaip offer two track options: Steel tracks (SFT) for more traction and working in extreme conditions and rubber tracks (SRT) to offer more speed and greater production using a fully hydrostatic transmission on a proven heavy duty-design and constructed chassis.

Description
The RIVCITY is a real small trencher on tracks, very compact, allowing it to operate in confined and restricted areas with a low impact on traffic and pedestrian traffic.
Thanks to its 2 wheels : TRCITY, TR80T, this trencher is also very versatile for the realisation of micro or mini trenches with mechanised installation of all types of networks.

The Cat® C4.4 Industrial Diesel Engine is offered is kW (190hp) @ 2200 rpm(SRT155) and 225Hp SRT180, which meet UK emission, EU Stage V standards.

Transmission:
SRT155 standard and RD models all have a fully hydrostatic transmission closed circuit with electronic traction control to maximum power distribution and traction.
Undercarriage and final drives
Scaip combine’s a heavy duty designed a track frame and idler roller with oil filled epicycloid drive hub with integrated negative control brakes at the leading edge of the track to offer high performance and longevity of the final drive, tracks and track frame components. Combined with a durable high quality duty rubber track to deal with the most aggressive of working condition at minimum running costs.

Operators cab:
The operator’s cab is designed to offer the most ergonomically design with all round rubber shock mounting supports, this allows greater comfort and ease of operation with clear panoramic visibility for safety and operation including heater and full air-conditioned cab.
The vehicle controls are via a full function joy stick control for forward /reverse and steering, this offers the operator greater control and easy single hand operation with clear digital display of engine data also easier and safer access and egress from cab as there is no steering wheel.
