Vacuum Lifting Systems
Vacuworx Lifting Systems increase productivity and benefit your bottom line. Vacuum lifting allows faster load and unload cycles with less downtime than conventional methods since there are no slings and chains to hook and unhook, while the need for fewer ground personnel reduces the risk of accidents and lowers payroll and insurance costs. ROI is often realised in 6 months or less through reduced labor costs, bonus awards and the ability to take on more projects.
VACUWORX PORTABLE VACUUM LIFTING SYSTEMS
offer the perfect solution for smaller lifting challenges on the job or in the shop. Engineered for both interior and exterior applications, these battery powered lifters can go to work anywhere! The PS 1 can lift up to 1,700 lb (0.8 tonne). The new PHD features a twin pump design, remote control and a lift capacity of 2,500 lb (1.13 tonne).
THE SL 2 SUBCOMPACT VACUUM LIFTING SYSTEM
THE SL 2 SUBCOMPACT VACUUM LIFTING SYSTEM is the ultimate attachment — lightweight and extremely versatile, the system has been updated with an improved hydraulic systems and modular pads to work with more machines and for more applications! Featuring all-aluminium construction, the patent pending design runs off the host machine’s hydraulic system and can be easily attached in minutes to lift steel plate, saw-cut concrete, granite and marble slabs, landscape pavers and more! In addition, quick-connect hydraulic hoses make switching between attachments fast and easy so you can maximise productivity on the job. Perfect for floor, sidewalk, driveway, road and landscaping projects.
MC SERIES VACUUM LIFTING SYSTEMS
MC Series Vacuum Lifting Systems are light-weight and designed for use with compact host vehicles, suited for lower weight specifications and smaller material sizes. They are ideal for utility and in-plant applications and have lift capacities ranging from 6,600 to 11,000 lb (3-5 tonne). The MC 3 operates using a self-contained gas engine. The MC 5 has the same compact profile with a higher capacity diesel engine. The new MC 5H is powered by the hydraulic system of the host machine.
RC SERIES VACUUM LIFTING SYSTEMS
RC Series Vacuum Lifting Systems are designed to handle materials from 22,000 to 55,000 lb (10-25 tonne) in conjunction with larger-capacity host carriers. RC Series lifters are best suited for large diameter energy and infrastructure projects, as well as material handling at port facilities, pipe mills, and storage yards. Fully self-contained units are powered by diesel engines and can be hooked up and ready to go in a matter of minutes; “H” models operate using the hydraulic system of the host machine to eliminate fuel costs, emissions and noise.
The Octapad
The Octapad concrete slab lifting system is designed for concrete slab removal during road and bridge construction projects. Each of the 8 pads has an individual vacuum that can be shut off for areas of the slab that are too damaged for lifting. The Octapad is designed for use with excavators that can lift and place materials directly in a truck for removal from the job site without re-handling. Innovative vacuum technology allows for complete removal of the slab from the road bed, leaving the sub-base undisturbed for the subsequent patch pour.
- Designed to lift deteriorated concrete slabs from roadways and bridge decks
- Compatible with RC Series vacuum lifters
- Lift capacity of 11,888 lb (5.4 tonne)
- Consists of eight 14” x 20” flat pads with individual vacuum valves able to be shut off when directly over a crack or pothole
- Engineered to lift reinforced concrete slabs up to 6’ wide x 12’ long x 12” thick
- Greatly reduces the need for traditional slab-removal methods such as air or hydraulic hammers, drills, cables and slab buckets
